What you need:



  • High school diploma
  • Effectively speak, read and write in the English language
  • Working knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems
  • Airframe or Powerplant license
  • Working knowledge of computer-based applications
  • Basic understanding of FAA regulations pertaining to FAR Part 145 repair station operations
  • Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Overhaul Manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Illustrated Parts Catalogues and Structural Repair Manuals
  • Must provide tools as listed on required tool listing


Preferred Job Skills:



  • Prior hands-on experience in a heavy maintenance environment
  • Prior experience at a FAR Part 145 repair station


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to twist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and climb and sustain those positions for an extended period of time
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet
  • Ability to work with arms raised above head and perform repetitive tasks and motions
  • Ability to fit in tight places
  • Ability to work in confined spaces with respiratory equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to precisely manipulate hand tools in a variety of situations
