General Summary of Position: An Admissions Counselor is responsible for traditional admissions responsibilities that will enhance the recruitment efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. General admissions responsibilities include: travel, in-person/virtual school visits, parent/student programming, college fairs, conducting information sessions, virtual recruitment opportunities including virtual school visits, virtual college fairs, virtual panel discussions, and webinars, as well as reading, evaluating and summarizing applications for admission. Admissions Counselors must have the ability to effectively manage a recruitment territory that will include outreach, recruiting and yielding high-achieving students, under-represented students, local, international, and out-of-state students.
