Summary of Need: Gauging patients' psychiatric states. Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans. Administering psychotropic and similar medications. Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens. Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features. Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients. Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations. Conducting targeted psychoeducation, particularly within families. Additional Remarks: 13 weeks... Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:00) Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)... Will work holidays if needed... 2+ years of experience required... Floating may be required... 22 beds: 10 on 2D, 12 on 6D... BLS required... Experience in behavioral health required... Cases per day: 8... Patient Mix: Patients can be any age 18+ sometimes geri in 60s, however all are highly acute. Diagnosis is any developmental delay - Autism, down syndrome, intellectual disability, fragile X syndrome, etc... Charting System: Epic... First time travelers are accepted...
